Tamburlaine Organic Wines has been named to be the China Showcase Series III Events Principal Wine Partner.

As Principal Wine Partner, Tamburlaine Organic Wines will feature in all of our Signature Series Showcase Dinners.

Tamburlaine was established in 1966. In 1985 the Hunter winery was purchased by a small group of friends and relatives led by Managing Director and Chief Winemaker, Mark Davidson. Mark has built his long-term winemaking philosophy around Contemporary Organic practices in the vineyard and the winery. After challenging years of research and development, Tamburlaine has become one of Australia’s largest producers of organic wines with vineyards in the Hunter Valley and Orange region.

Named after Christopher Marlowe’s famous play and character ‘Tamburlaine the Great’, Tamburlaine works to lead the way with their Contemporary Organics vision, successfully producing award-winning organic, vegan-friendly, low sulphur and no added sulphur wines.

“We’re pleased to have Tamburlaine as our Principal Wine Partner. They have a commitment to the China market, and understand the challenges and opportunities.

“With a product that is so dependant on Credentialing, we are certain that by working together we will be able to add tremendous value both ways,” said BeefLedger director Charles Morris.

Tamburlaine has been working with Laava and we thank Gavin Ger Laava for encouraging our discussions.

Other wine partners for the Showcase Series will be announced shortly.
